Memorials for the Individual
None of us are the same in life, why on earth should we be the same in death?

Giving a loved one the kind of send-off we feel they deserve is an emotional gift that can have significant healing benefits for those dealing with the pain of losing an important person in their life. The idea of planning a truly fitting tribute filled with love and laughter in a place that is significant or meaningful can instil a sense of having brought that person to their final place in celebration and remembrance.

The funeral industry is in a phase of change. You no longer have to sit through a long church service or endure the quiet of a chapel in a funeral home. You can find a perfect or significant location, raise a glass, tell stories and celebrate the life that has moved to its next stage. And why shouldn’t we remember and celebrate? Even in sadness there is great value in allowing our emotions to rise to memory and appreciation.

With the rising popularity of direct cremation and burial services (where the cremation or burial is done privately - see below), many families are choosing to plan a truly fitting tribute for their loved one at a place that's meaningful – anywhere!

We are all so very different in our lives. The things we find funny, the moments of deep love and memories, or even the objects or vehicles we love. These things can be celebrated and remembered. Gorgeous shrouds with drawings and handwritten messages can be placed over caskets rather than the traditional wooden box. Eco options for those who were environmentally conscious and any other thing that you want to incorporate as part of YOUR process to saying goodbye to your loved one.
Direct Cremation or Burial- If you’re considering a direct cremation or burial with a unique memorial service (with or without ash scattering), I can help you create the perfect send-off.
